Inlet manifold gasket replacement.

Ive ordered an inlet manifold gasket from ebay and will replace the leaking one when it is abit warmer.

What are the torque settings for the inlet manifold bolts ?

If I undo the injector pipes to gain access, can they simpy be put back on or do I need to replace some washers etc? (I dont want to be left stuck waiting for parts with the job half finished).

Do the injector pipes then need to be bled of air bubbles at the injector end or will it self bleed when starting the engine ?

not sure but one thing i do recall reading is some are warped/bent

so a nice long straight edge might well help to check it

as some have had to have them machined

similar to flattening head of block

Isn't that the exhaust manifold you're talking about, not sure I've seen mention of an inlet manifold being warped?

Thanks for your input. I'll check the faces of both the cylinder head and manifold with a straight edge.

Is there anyone on this forum that has removed/replaced their inlet manifold ?
