Bongo Fury

I haven't been convinced my LB is performing as it should for a while now so have removed it today and had it on an intelligent charger all day (as per advice from missfixit70 in another thread).
When I first put it on charge this morning it had a volt reading of 11.74v. After 4 hours on charge it had moved to 11.75v! I then brought it inside as it was too cold to keep nipping out to the garage to check it (perhaps the cold was a contributing factor to lack of charging?).
Anyway now it's in the kitchen and in the last 4 hours it has moved to 11.81. It seems to be charging a bit more now, but I expected it to be charging a lot quicker than it is.
Is this normal or is my LB knackered?

If a full battery reads around 12.8v, this could take a while.

My only question is..... what is the capacity of Battery the charger can charge..... some only go up to 70Ah... and as its an automatic, it might not be able to handle a high capacity battery....... Check the Book of Words that came with the charger or it might be on a label someone on the unit

I have one of the little Aldi/Lidl ones..... (Mines an Aldi)....it can charge up to 120 Ah batteries and also has a "cold" weather setting..... a low temperature charge.... The normal charge is a healthy 3.6A... and 4.8A on the cold setting...

Does sound like a duff battery to me. You would expect it to show 12+ volts after a couple of hours even if it was heavily discharged. The problem this time of year is that a low battery can easily be finished off in the cold.

It says max battery capacity is 110Ah. THB the instructions are a bit rubbish. On the Halfords description though it says something about charging options: Fully automatic, 1.5A slow charge, 7.5A fast charge. I can't however see any way, if there is, to change from slow to fast charge, unless it does it automatically as it suggests? If it's charging at 1.5A could that have anything to do with it?
