I have got a Ford Freda when i stop moving the headlights go off after 1-2 seconds and then come back on when I set off however if my indicator is flashing when I stop to turn the head lights stay on pressing the accelerator makes no difference it will only come back on when I move can anyone help?
is there a switch /button that I might have pressed? is it a faulty relay?

This has come up in the past, some come over with some kind of bizzare safety feature to avoid glare when stationary.
Spend a while on the Search, there may be an answer there somewhere.

Yup I think it is a feature (optional? is yours a later model?) intended to save on juice and/or dazzling people when - as so often happens in Japan - you are stationary in traffic for long periods. No idea how you disable it but it has been discussed on here a long time back so have a search
