need to clean it up today again,is it safe to remove tis or a bit risky to do so??

Are you just wanting to remove and clean the Banjo filter, Chipvan?

Not difficult, and a cotton bud will get it out once the nuts' off (Think that's one of Kirstys tips, but there's a factsheet with it all on).

It seems to trap fibres that come from the main filter so if, as you enquire in another thread, you remove the main filter, you probably don't need it. Don't know how happy I'd be with no filters though

what a thicko i really am, the pre mesh filter (inline type) i have was in the wrong way round and was full of bits.

put a new one on and cleaned out the banjo filter and alls good again.

been thinking best to leave on banjo filter on fuel pump!

my set up is mesh inline filter,heatexchanger,standard bongo main fuel filter and the banjo on still on.

I reckon iam picking up bits from my father inlaws container ,know the oil is good...he is less than tidy

reckon i need to talk to my father in law,he also uses oil in his landy but he is less than carefull,my bet it his ways that are doing it!! he he
