2wd to 4wd conversion???is it poss????

Most seem to want to make their 4wd a 2wd but is it poss to go the other way ie we have a 2wd but would like it to be a 4wd...
any ideas??

Strange cos I didn't find mine bad (though its not hilly in my locality). Maybe get some snowchains or a pair of studded tyres for next time (must try and research if either of those could make any sense esp. bearing in mind the car would be on and off ice/snow free roads)!chipvan wrote:cheers guys...just was terrible in the cold weather !!

A lot depends on your tyres. If you've got budget priced summer tyres fitted, they'd hardly give any grip in the weather we've just had, until you'd done a bit of travelling and the compound had warmed up - still wouldn't be good thoughchipvan wrote:cheers guys...just was terrible in the cold weather !!
