Show us yer insides
Inspired by the 'show us your decals' thread, I thought I'd start one on the innovative internal layouts that members of BF have.
My wife and I are looking at gettign a conversion once we've saved enough, but could do with some inspiration! I've seen some lovely and novel layouts throughout my browsing, but thought that a single thread with some images would be useful (I'm aware of the gallery BTW). Selfishly, we're particularly intereste in anything that will help to accomodate a dog in a travel crate, 1 (+ potentially one more at some point) child, the wife and I.
I'll take some pics over the weekend of our current set up.
So; whatcha got?

Well that layout would put paid to my PHOBIA of sleeping in the roof. No option there eh?
What a layout though. Keep kids and grandchildren away. Purely for adults.
Can't make out if it is an advert for Imperial Car Company or it is your own insides (not literally.....especially after eating chicken livers ).

No, that's ours. Sleeps two upstairs, two downstairs. I'll post a pic with the bed deployed when I get home.

Snobs
What a good idea to have them all in one place. Really will make it easy to find ideas.
Get ready for more absolute smashers....

OOOOOOHHHHHHH..... I want one like that!!!! Looks absolutely gorgeous. Looks like a TARDIS though......all that fits in a BONGO
Re: Show us yer insides

Re: Show us yer insides
Hi there.......Well that is a turn up for the book. Love the dog in your avatar. Have you stripped the inside of your Bongo so that the dog feels at home eh?
Obviously in the middle......or maybe you will shock us with the finished conversion in a minute.......GO ON don't keep us in suspense there.

piccie of insulating the walls + cab roof really
Re: Show us yer insides
Oh man of many words eh?
Re: Show us yer insides
Good stuff so far.
The Imperial conversion does seem very pimp! It is also useful to see the other side of the spectrum - the naked interior, simple storage solutions etc. as well. I know that some are as simpel as storage boxes that double up to form part of the bed.
Has anybody made/purchased a particularly compact cooking unit? How about those with Origo stoves?

Re: Show us yer insides
Mine's stripped out ATM, ideas stage But this was the prototype that did me proud last year (with a few mods along the way), for 70+ nights all built out of (s)crap & all removable as it's just fixed to the long seat rail & rear flip seat mounting bolts.
I intend to go with a similar design for the bed & unit at the side rear. I've got a 12v compressor drawer fridge, that I want to make fit under the remaining rear belted seat (got to be raised 3" or so), I've got a sink & drainer to go in the unit at the rear, water tank(s) in the space currently occupied by the rear heater, & a (lift out) unit built over the toilet for the origo & cooking gear, allowing the toilet to slide out for use, storage ideas similar to Muz's in front of/over the rear windows.
Several other silly ideas, most of which will probably take the next couple of years to fulfill, if I ever do I've got to board the floor & put the leccy in first & get all the rear heater gubbins removed.

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
