Hi there,as a new Bongo owner I am a bit confused as to whether I have a leisure battery or not. There are two batteries under the hood, would one of these be a leisure battery? If so, how do I run things off it other than the car stereo/lights?

After such beautiful weather in SW Wales today I am starting to get v excited about using the Bongo when it gets a bit warmer :D

if you have a conversion then it may be a leisure battery, if not, then its possible a twin start battery set up, that they have in the colder climes of Japan. have a look under the bonnet and see if there is a thick cable between the two battery's, if there is then its probably a twin battery set up.
they can be seperated and the other used as a type of leisure battery with a split charge relay.

A clue is if you have a switch by your right knee like the pic half way down this page

The extreme cold climate in North Japan needs a bit of a boost to fire up in the morning.

Having said that, you have the perfect platform to get a LB set-up installed.

If you have a leisure battery it will be connected to the starter battery with a Willinton Intelligent Split Charging Wiring Loom or something similar and look like this:
