Hi, anyone brave enough to get out & about camping in their Bongo over Christmas???
We are off to the Lake District - figured the bedroom is upstairs so we should be dry enough
More specifically, we are going to the Eskdale C&CC site, 3 pubs within walking distance, what more can we want??!
we will be there from boxing day through to the 2nd Jan and can't wait
will we see any other mad nutters out & about too??

Not
this Christmas - warm at home, with our family all here.
Last Christmas though, we did our first ever Bongo overnights - not exactly camping but parked on the drive outside daughter's place in darkest Bucks. I volunteered us, to leave more beds inside for other family visitors - and, of course, I was itching for an excuse to try it. Worked out brilliantly, hooked up, fan heater on, snug and toasty!!

Even Mrs M was most happy

Hope you all have good winter camping, and wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
BTW, our first real camping was in more extreme conditions, above Wareham in early March, when the south of England was blitzed by snow and ice. All water pipes frozen until 3 pm, and neighbouring Portland cut off by snow for the first time in living memory. Again, the Bongo was warm and toasty, and a good time was had by all.
