How easy to replace droplink bushes and exhaust manifold

The garage has told me that the nearside Rollbar Link(Droplink i think) bushes are worn. Is it easy enough to tackle myself?
Also need to replace the exhaust manifold. If anyone has one lying around and it is not worn let me know.
Is it as simple as it looks. Take off turbo, block hoses, unbolt exhaust, unbolt manifold and wayhey?

Haven't done the manifold, but it shouldn't be too hard, droplinks are a doddle, just make sure you do it with the weight on the wheels & balanced, don't lift one side at a time. penetrating oil or wd40 on the nuts the day before, replace the pair IMO.

Rollbar link sounds like antiroll bar bushes to me. Droplinks may well go at around the same time so hard to know which they are talking about. Its not that expensive to fit new droplinks and new antiroll bar bushes (and new steel u-clamps for the bushes as these will be near to fatigued and will probably break soon). Then you know the whole lot is sorted and should give a nice sophisticated rattle free ride for a good long time (depending on what roads you travel, how you travel them and what wheels you use of course).

Antirollbar link is the Droplink Mike (& they have bushes in each end), as it's the link on the end of the antirollbar

Doesn't mean to say the info relayed is correct of course & as you say, if not done already, it's as well to do the ARB's & brackets for the sake of another £20 of bits while you're under there.

The hardest part of both jobs may well be getting any rusted old nuts off. When I replaced the exhaust on my bongo I hit the nuts with penetrating oil several times over the days before attempting to remove the old exhaust. Even with that, it took quite a bit of welly.

I recently got a manifold and it was warped by 1mm over the last 100mm. The previous owner wouldn't have been aware of it but it'll need skimming to work properly. £36 plus VAT was the quote
I reckon there must be a problem with the Bongo manifold as the warping is just where no 1 stud is and it will try to draw the stud out of the head

That won't be a problem believe me. She has had 2 new heads in the last month.
