Bongo Fury

My low coolant alarm squeels a bit when I first start up. After a few miles all is ok. I am now camping and want to listen to the radio. There is a constant, but quiet, squeel from the alarm. It and the TM2 are wired into the ciggy lighter. I am soon to fit a leisure battery and what I wanna know is what circuits do I want on leisure and what on key and how do I sort it?

leisure battery wiring is easy get a willinton kit it has everything you need and instructions to wire the radio, internl lights, blinds (if electric) and spare wires for anything else needed.

the tm2/lca I would guess at a good earth needed but just guessing your best bet by far on that is to pm Haydn

Sometimes the alarm sounds all the time if the coolant in the system is not strong enough, water is not a conductor for the sensors, the coolant in the water is.
Also just re-check your connections especially the earth wire.

Fuses 1,6,7,8. will give you ciggy socket, radio,blinds, internal lights.all working off the LB.

Has the alarm always done this and how long has it been fitted ??? this has been reported before and it is almost always down to poor connections...If all else faile...WHEN COLD...remove the sensor screw from the ex tank...wire brush it and replace (get your other half to put her finger over the hole whilst you do this)and if this fixes it please contact me. (if you don't the fault will return)

I think it may well be the earth. As I put the ring connector right behind the nut on the battery terminal and it split. Should have used a washer.
The fuse numbers you quote do they relate directly to what you have quoted there.
I have took a live fir my tm2 and lca from the front ciggy socket, is there a fuse for each ciggy socket?

The fuse box layout is in the members area factsheet Tony, I keep a printout of it folded up in the lid of my fusebox. The ciggy sockets are wired in to the same fuse.

Ah, so i am gonna have to find another ignition live for my LCA and TM2. Any suggestions?
