Hi,
Does anyone know how to fit the speedo converter chip, I purchased one on ebay but they did not send any instructions. They wont reply to my emails.
Its a chip with a load of wires coming out of it.
Cheers

You'll have to give some more details; what make is the chip and what colour wires come out of it?

no ones answered how or where in the vehicle? take out your clocks, 4 screws for the surround, 4 for the clocks, on the back of the speedo itself you'll find 3 of the connections, using small ring crimps (soldering isnt nencessary) and from the earlier posted link, crimp, the red, black and grey, remove the screws that hold the speedo in from behind, fix the red under the screw marked ignition, the black under screw marked speedo - and the grey under the screw marked speedo +. The yellow attatches to the loom, if you have new shape its the middle loom, old shape its the loom on the right, look to the 3rd pin in from the left, should be blue with a white stripe, cut it about 5cms 9in case you ever want to re-conect it, useful to have a bit of play!) from the clock connector and join the yellow wire to the vehicle side of the cut, make sure you insulate with a bit of tape the other end of the cut wire, throw it all together for a quick test run up the road and if all is connected correctly, put it all back together.
