Shuddering on cornering

Hi all,
Recently my 4wd Bongo has started "shuddering" when turning into a corner. It doesn't do it round every corner but there is a particular speed and road camber that seems to encourage it. The front tyres are fairly worn but still have plenty of tread on them but there is a small amount of "castling" on each front tyre.
Anyone else had such a problem? Any suggestions as to what might be causing it?,

What size tyres are you running jon?

195/70R15 on the front, 215/65R15 on the back. Currently running Avon AV9 van tyres.

Balljoint/wishbone is my bet.
I got the same, mostly at gentle motorway sliproad left handers between 50/60 mph.
Felt the same as an unbalanced wheel.
Changed w/bone last MOT & all is now silky smooth.

Do you get it when accelerating out of a tight turn, such as out of a T-junction?
If so, it is probably your limited slip diff doing what it is supposed too. If it isn't eating tyres and doesn't do it under more 'normal' conditions, don't fret... you will be glad it does it when the snow comes!
Mine has done this too since I purchased it 2 years ago. 18000 miles and I am still running the same tyres and they have plenty of life left.

I use to get the shudder when reversing uphill, and also suffered from castling on the front tyres. All has been solved, when I changed to 215's all round (was 195's on front, 215's on rear) and used the right type of tyres, (was using Mitchelin van tyres). Apparently 4WD systems don't like van tyres.
I got Nankang Toursport 611 fitted all round ( suggested by Wheelquick) Now done over 40k km's, and apart from a bit of wearing on the front outside edge on both sides, the tyres still look good and I've had no shuddering since. These Nankangs are classed as budget tyres, and I will be getting them fitted again, when needed.

mine had a bit of judder, replaced the rear dif oil and it went away.
