It would be nice if someone at Fiamma could put their mind to designing some extended top brackets for Bongos with spoilers. Cutting holes is all very well but all we really need are dedicated brackets.the rest of the frame is quite easy to modify for size. My intention was to modify my VW rack in a way that would allow it to go back on the VW as well.
A couple of things to bear in mind which are not immediately evident:
1. The frame is likely to collide with or obscure the parking mirror.
2. The number plate may become hidden behind the bicycles unless the platform is raised to a new set of holes which would need to be drilled. (I once read somewhere that obscuring the number plate invited a £25 fine with no endorsement as compared with £60 and three points for being photographed speeding !!!)
There is no doubt that Fiamma racks inspire confidence in their build and fitting. Bongo owners know about Fiamma racks, so why don't Fiamma know about Bongos?

Thanks for the detailed reply, i agree with you anything where you dont have to cut would be good, and I had not considered point 2 at all

!!!!!!!! seems like the Vito rack option is a lot easier than the T4 one.
Thanks again
