Bongo seems to be losing coolant

Hi
Not sure if this is normal, had the Bongo for about 2 months... had the top up the expansion tank twice in this time as the 'low coolant' alarm went off... Can't find any signs of leaks under the van... this doesn't sound good, does it? Any suggestions?
Thanks

If you're not techie Wheelquick in Wigan are your guys, and Weston Warrior's right, it must be leaking and best to get it sorted before you get big probs.

Do you still have the orginal radiator? As the only two times my alarm has gone off was......

(1) When the rad started to ouze water from where the plastic head meets the metal body. This would only happen when the rad was hot. It is easy to check ( well .....it is on mine) just by removing a couple of clips which holds down the air scoop for the blower.

If you have a replacement rad, and it's not an original then it might have a short tube sticking out from just below the rad cap. If this is not sealed right, you will get a leak. (2)

Sometimes the coolant that has leaked can drop onto the engine tray giving the false impression that there is no leak, or can vapour off if it drips/sprays onto a hot engine...

This is NOT a advert...but may help.
I still have a small amount of the UV leak detection fluid left.
Visit the web shop below....All profit to charity from this item.
From the posts above it would seem the Coolant Alarms are doing their stuff. Nice !!

Thanks guys... Bought the van from Wheelquick... Might just let them sort it... Didn't know if it was normal or not... Had an old Chevette I was constantly topping up, never found the leak...
Thanks again

I'd take it back to mike to check over for leaks (he knows where to look!) I supplied mike with a UV torch to help detect leaks in vehicles with UV dye in the system.
