about 15k miles ago I have replaced the solenoids of the starter motor beacuse the bongo was not starting anymore.
now (so far occasionally) it is doing it again, it clicks and it does not start.
is this possible? anyone experienced this twice?
does the solenoid needs to be replaced again?
Thanks

I'd be surprised, maybe something wasn't tightened properly? Did you replace the plunger too?

Is the battery fully charged? Do the interior lights go very dim when you turn the key? A battery that does not have enough oomph to activate the solenoid to engage the starter tends to cause it to click & 'chatter'.

the battery is the one I had when I bought the car 2 years ago, so I do not know how old it is, but it seems fine.
when the bongo does not start, it just clicks nothing follows,

You may get away with taking it apart & cleaning up the face for now? Worth whipping it out just to check anyway.
