Well its gone noon and I suspect that, like me, most of the 20+ bogonaughts that attended last night are just about surfacing.
Many thanks to Chris & Jo for putting this meet together....a slightly (only slightly) more spophisticated event that our usual meet format.
cheers

sounds like you had fun. I thought of you guys yesterday - some seasonal weather for you up there to set the mood. If I had the time, money and thought I could stand the pace, I'd have joined youHarry wrote:Well its gone noon and I suspect that, like me, most of the 20+ bogonaughts that attended last night are just about surfacing.

Well we had a brilliant time Thanks to Chris and Jo for finding such a great pub to have our lovely Christmas meal The staff at the Pheasant were top class and nothing was too much trouble Nice to meet new Bongonaughts Robena it was great to see you out with your very dapper hubby Nice to see all the familiar faces too Will post a photo or two shortly.... On our journey home we had the pleasure of driving in convoy with Muz and Co not sure where they were heading we had detoured over to Colne so Grace could shop at Matalan

This was a great meet. Well done to Jo and Chris for sorting this out The Pheasant is a lovely pub and the staff were great. The food was good - as was the company. Nice to meet some new faces -hope to see you again soon. The quiz was dead easy and I only pretended not to know the answers just to make you lot feel better Thanks to Karen for the midnight walk spotting cats eyes I'm so pleased we made the decision to pop along to this meet as I had a proper laugh. I hope Dot is feeling a bit better now too. Cam and Elliot say a big thank you to Gillian for the choccy coins. It was lovely to see you guys and I'm glad Grace got to go somewhere on the way home

Brill meet, again. Many thanks to Jo & Chris for getting us together, the excellent Pheasant crew for making us all so welcome, the truly scrummy 3 course dinner, the search party involved in the fruitless task of searching for my keys at a ridiculous hour & the team that helped me break in to the Bongo so we didn't end up sleeping out in the frost.
Today was made a little more interesting too. True to form on a meet, I suffered at the hands of the Gods & came home after an 8 hour endurance mission on the back of a RAC truck.
