Hi All,
Not had to ask for any help for a while,
Anyway, had my front and rear drop links replaced yesterday, on the way home last night heard a noise on the rear, i have had a look at the passenger side and rear drop link has come away from the mount at the top fixing, i need a picture of each side (Driver and passenger) of the rear drop links fitted as i think that the garage have put them on incorrectly ?
If someone doesn't mind crawling around on the floor to take the pics i would really appreciate it as i need to take the van back but would like to be sure that if they are fitted incorrectly i can at least show the experts how to fit um!!
Thanks on advance.

If a garage cannot fit drop links correctly then they should not be in business and I would not use them.

Don't know if this helps -
http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... mgno=.html Can't see how you really could fit them wrong to be honest.

If you can't see what you need, post some pics of what you're looking at, we can tell you if yours looks right.

Hi to all that replied, thanks especially for the photo's this does confirm that the passenger side rear has been put on incorrectly, to be fair the previous drop link might have been fitted this way as it was cluncking and the garage have followed it ?, anyway at least i know what the problem is, i will be back at the garage tomorrrow!!
Thanks again for your time and kind help.

Hi Kirsty,
No camera at the moment but basically the bar has been fitted with both "round parts" not seen if you look under the wheel arch, instead of the bottom one showing and the top one not, hope this makes sense as i am obviously no wiz with mechanics, however i bake a great cake !!!!!!

I think I get what you mean, it's been bolted to the wrong side of the end on the anti roll bar, which I guess has then ripped the rubber bush out/off due to the bar trying to force itself into the right position? Was this just on one side, or both? Sounds like incompetence to me, I doubt it would have been like that with the old ones as it would have done the same & any half decent garage would have realised why.
I'd expect a full explanation/apology & be wary of them letting do your brakes when the time comes if they can't manage something so simple

. I could see an inexperienced car owner making such a mistake, but not a garage who do this sort of thing day in & day out & should know better

Hi Kirsty,
Yes you are right, it is just the passenger side that they have done this to so you would have thought that they would have noticed having fitted the drivers side correctly !
Just my luck, should be sorted pretty quick sharp !!
Thanks again.
