Hi, My Bongo, like many others is suffering from worn paint on the front grill....I would like to spray it with the matt silver paint to tidy it up.
Can this be removed easily for me to spray it?
Thanks
Tanya :)

Dead easy to remove, if i remember correctly, five push clips and 1 screw.

yes it's very easy....... a couple of screws and some click in clips....with the clips they have to be pressed in and the grill eased forward as you release their grip....then lift out....

It'll take longer to mask the chrome "M" mazda insignia than it will to remove the grille!

Yes it took 1 minute to remove the grill (1 screw and some clips) and 5 minutes to sellotape the mazda badge!!
All sprayed and back on the um bongo! looks fab! very chuffed.

I've recently doneb this as well. It's easy to get the grille off as has been described. I think it's worth removing the badge (just dremel/cut off the tab at the back where it's melted on). It is easy to glue it back on with some epoxy.

I recently found that you don't need to press the 5 lugs in as they are actually the springy bits that fit into recepticles on the van, so they are just like little spring loaded catches. Just undo the screw & gently ease it forward.
