Bongo Fury

hi everyone,
got a prob filling up the bongo,tried to put in fuel but after a fiver the diesel rise up the filler tube and overflows !!!!,no matter how slow i fill up it does the same!!!!,anyone had similar probs or may know whats wrong.........never get to looe on a fiver !!!!

Sounds like a blocked vent pipe.

Hmm seems like it to me,lol, full tank with cream crackered sender earth, ho hum,lol, same old problem quickly solved.

hi all ,still cant get no fuel in the tank,took the breather off and blew it out with an air line,dont know what else to do ,any ideas please ,
getting desperate now !!!!!!!!!!!

Is the filler pipe clear? maybe something's dropped in there, end of a nozzle or something?

What does the gauge show? Have you driven it enough since you last filled it to be able to get more fuel in? I know that seems like a silly question, but when I parked by van up in early July I filled it up, so when I got it out again last weekend, I was pleased to find I had a full tank that cost me 5p/litre less than it would now.

Is there any chance that someone has tampered with the fuel filler? I know of someone who played a very mean trick involving a can of expanding foam & an exhaust pipe

just been out and pushed a peice of hose down the filler tube to no avail.........no blockage there,breather is clear,is there any filter in the tube ?
fingers crossed someone will know,managed to get £1.24 in ????????????????/

gauge is moving slightly everytime a little fuel goes in,the van is parked on my drive.....dont think its been tampered with

Then if it's clear to the tank, it must be the breather isn't clear all the way up the pipe, or the tank is full, can't see what else is stopping it

In addition to missfixits post, i was putting some veg oil in once and the bottle lid dropped into the filler pipe, luckily it lodged about 3inches down and I managed to hook it out,sorry not much help to you daznotts but thought I'd mention it as it's easy done.
