Solenoid on the fuel pump'll be stuck, you'll probably need a new one. Part no 243002 on here labelled as valve, magnet - http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... o=.html#20
Bongobits stock them http://www.bongobits.com/Main.asp?PageN ... roduct=280 , but I suspect you'll be able to get it cheaper as I think they are all "Zexel" pumps which is basically a Bosch copy/rebrand.

I had this once when I inadvertently touched a button on a mysterious box below the steering wheel that may control the batteries. No idea how it works, but could be that it went in to 'charge' mode so kept the engine running. Poked the buttons a few times and it stopped. Voila!

That'll be the turbo timer then  it means the engine runs for a set time before shutting down after turning the ignition off, to allow the oil/coolant to continue circulating to prevent damage to the turbo.

Woah Kirsty, that's pretty damn cool (doh! another unintentional pun). That makes perfect sense, although I usually let the turbo spin down before turning the engine off. It's only done this the once. In that case, why does the 'mysterious box' have two lights and two buttons marked 'A' and 'B' ? Thought it was for batteries.

beat me to it cabte. Sometimes mine won't turn off cos I can't get my right hand to operate the ignition key, and my right foot appears glued to the accelerator pedal. Time was, time is.......

I could drive all night
