New to this Bongo lark. Done a long trip but this will be the first camp.
- Loaded up, back bag full.
- Full tank.
- Checked the van.
- Fridge on.
- Smallest child ready to nap on journey.
- Eldest child named the van. (Daisy)
- Probably forgotten something.
- Cromer here we come

Pics and tales of our first Bongo* adventure to follow....
*
Not our first van adventure as my first car was a Bay windowed VW, but we are back after a long break with boring soul less cars...

Well back from sunny Cromer...
It didn't really rain, and was hot but not to sunny. Days spent on the beach swimming and crabbing or around Cromer and Sheringham.
Everything packed nicely into cupboards and the large back bag. Awning worked well, though I will be much better and faster at putting it up in the future. We have a list of stuff that we need to take next time, plus stuff we took and didn't need. That will all come together with a bit more practice. Silly things like a smaller stove top kettle, an a bowl that fits the cupboard etc...
Eldest and I slept in the roof and youngest and mum on the bed downstairs. Can't have been that uncomfortable as the eldest slept in until 9:15am on the morning of her birthday

Daisy even managed to get the birthday cake there in one piece. Good fun had by all.
The only downer was that the fridge didn't work. Seems to be a fault with the actual fridge, which I am resolving with the garage I bought it off. Should have really checked it worked before going away, but hey that's life...
She needs a good hoover and clean. Then we are good to go again. the first of many trips to come...
A few pics here
