think so, you can find out for definate by stripping the starter motor and checking the contacts themselfs, but from what you said its a classic case of knackered contacs

From the compatible parts list at the top of techie section, cost a bit more now though. As Wayne said, not sure about parts for the winter pack starter though. I think you can replace with a normal starter If someone's got one lurking about.

If you ring them, just say you want the starter solenoid & plunger kit & I bet they ask if you've got a bongo before you have to tell them

I had the winter kit with the heavy duty starter and the same problem.

The solenoid is completely sealed and the only way you would get at
the contacts was with a 14 pound hammer and a pair of 24" stillsons.

As Kirsty said, you need to replace the complete solenoid.

I could not source a replacement solenoid, so ended up replacing the
starter with the standard 2 kW one which fitted perfectly and has not
been any trouble since. Could be a cheaper option in the long term.

Recently got one of these kits for a Hilux with a "click but no turning" starter issue. Common on Hiluxes apparently.

Starter looks damn near identical to the Bongo one. Kit is £35 from roughtrax.

Doesn't help if you have a winterised one though...

Looks similar to the bongo one, but the same (& definitely right) parts are available through the link posted above for at least £10 less
Be worth checking the battery voltage first Jetskier, could be it's drained too far too do owt if it's been left sat?

See what the voltage is first, disconnect the batteries from each other. could be you have a current drain, you haven't fitted a new stereo or left anything on have you?
