Hey ho, my trim inside the rear drivers side wheel arch has come adrift...
It seams to have the part number embossed on the inside on the lower section.
Its the plastic piece that covers the fuel filler pipe going to the tank made out of the same stuff as the air intake stuff under the bonnet?

Now, i know it screws to the body lower down.. It's the top where it kind of arches over, there's an oblong hole near the top that something goes through to attach the cover to what looks like a bracket with an eye on the fuel filler down pipe...
It don't really match up...
& since i can't see any other scrivet or bolt hole i assume that's the anchor point.

What have i missing? Possibly a bracket with bolts or scrivets?

Cheers.

 Hi Max.
The heat must be getting to my head..!
I found the bracket had been bent out of line...
A little bit of fettling with the bracket, being careful with the piece of metal welded to a fuel pipe. 8-[
I steadily moved it to what i believe is the right position & bolted the top of the plastic cover using a washer, nut, bolt & spring washer on the back using my nimble "girl like" hands!!

It won't move now! :D

This it going a bit off topic.. But what the hey! :D

I find it helps to involve the partner in aspects of the Bongo repairs/pimping.. Say, as a second pair of hands for instance!
Thinking about it now, we've shared quite a few jobs on that van.. 8)

Trust is crucial... Never let on the risk of injury!
