Mason Alarm and Engine fans

I have in the last two weeks fitted a mason alarm for piece of mind (I can not believe how easy it was). I have now noticed that my engine fans are running more often (with the ignition on). Is this coincidence due to the hot weather or does the mason alarm have some effect on this? Before fitting the alarm I hardly ever hear the engine fans and was beginning to wonder if they where faulty (even after a long run with a fellow bongo they did not operate when the other bongos did).

Shouldn't have an effect on the fans if it's correctly fitted, it has been much warmer than we're used to, so it could just be coincidence.
Are the fans coming on after a run? are you swtiching the engine off as soon as you stop, or are you letting it run for a minute or two?

Nothing to do with the Mason..
All the Mason does is liven up the dumb down temp gauge & alert the driver to an over heating episode!
The gauge will happily sit at 11 with it's fingers in it ears going la la la well past melt down point without one!

Is the air con on?, mine only work when this is switched on. I have never noticed the rad fans on otherwise.

I will occaisonaly improve my spellling and get back to telling jokes and making witty (droll, funny, original, sparkling, brilliant) remarks. Others may think that they are (dull, stupid).

I decided long ago, never compare to anyone's Bongo
If it fails, if it succeeds
At least it worked as I believe
No matter what may brake for me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me........................... #-o

I am currently switching the engine off, I guess it is better to run the engine for a while then?

Yes the air con has been on so I guess it is coincidence.
