Cam Belt replacement

My mechanic tells me that he cannot find any info re Cam Belt replacement on his usual database-I guess this is because it is only searching European vehicles. Does anyone know where he can find any guidance about tension settings etc to assist him or does all the relevant and necessary info come with the kit when I buy it?
