Can anyone confirm what the torque settings are for the Bongo 2.5 diesel cylinder head.
I figures I have are:-torque to 10nm then 29nm, once torqued to 29nm they need two additional 90 degree turns to achieve final setting.
This information is taken from the Bongo fact sheet site but I need this confirmed as I am in dispute with a garage who did not tighten down a cylinder head correctly. [-X [-X [-X

Yes that is what it says in fact sheet . You can download a copy from the members section if you havent already got it. I dont know how you can confirm these settings but they are the ones I have used.

I think it may depend on the bolts. Tightening my bolts was a five stage process I think. Sadly the box is gone. I do remember that its was two torque settings, followed by two turns of 110 degress, followed by a final check to a set torque or another turn of X. I got the bolts from AVA so maybe they can help you??
