Lindalove if you go on the Glastonbury web site there is a site map which shows all the car parks and camper/caravan parks in relation to the camp site there is a nice hill to walk up and down on one side a good test for the legs its a 5-10 minute walk depending on where you end up.

Hi,
We'll be there too, W reg white ATF.
Follow the blue route signs to the camping fields. Word of advise, last year being a fool we followed the signs but couldn't see any blue, there was red, yellow, green etc. Turns out we were going the wrong way !!!
Remember not to take anything made of glass, they do ask and check for that when you arrive.
Be good to see some people there, hoping for good weather for a change too.
Regarding where the campervans park, look at that map bottom right hand side. Feilds E12-E14 are the camperfields by the blue route.

if you arrive to early on the tuesday night find some where away from the festival site as there is no where to park up and you could end up with an exspensive weekend if you get towed away by the police as its a £125 fine, there was afew last year we know this as we do out security on the blue route we are on duty wednesday night

Need to hook up with some others wends morning & pick up provisions, so sainburys it is. I take it there's no access to the car parks before 8am... was under the impression that it was the gates into the fest that opened @ 8am

I see there's a western car park for campers too, do you think this will be full by the time we get there, Thurs lunchtime? Am hoping not as all our friends are tent camping on the west side of the festival so would be good to be close by.
By the way - chocks - do festy folk think I need them ( and also, is this just to back up the handbrake, or to try and put you on level? Am off to buy some chocks this w/e..)
Have fun on security Scarlet!
