Bongo Fury

Oh dear or words to that effect Lifted the roof for the first time in 3 months only for the roof side to get cught in the runner on the drivers side causing a slight tear I've seen repair kits on ebay but how good are they or should i invest in anew roof altogether

If it were me I would get a piece of plastic and glue it over maybe a transfer over that to disguise it, if that has problems then look at other things.

Its the cheapest and easiest in my opinion

The kits seam alot but they would be the correct material but probably not an exact colour match, close enough though.

would not want to spend a fortune on a new roof for a small tear

Replacing the roof seems a lot of trouble for a 'slight tear'. I would run clear seam sealer (from a tent shop or chandler) along the tear and reinforce on the inside with a light coloured vinyl (available from many dressmakers/haberdasheries/tent shop/chandlers) and fixed in place with seam sealer, so it's practically invisible from the outside.
