Haven't sent off for a ticket yet but I do have the time off work booked.

Not sure if I'm going yet. We were so spoilt at the Main-Event with fantastic weather and racing I intend to leave it till a bit nearer and check the weather forecast (not that they can ever be trusted).

That's probably just me sounding like I am trying to careful what I spend [-X but I will almost certainly be there

I take it the prospect of seeing blokes running around dressed as women didn't appeal

can you camp at Santa Pod? I read this from their website...

If you are travelling a long distance to camp at Santa Pod but will arrive before the event opens then camping facilities are available at.....

So can you camp at Santa Pod then? If so how do you book it or is it part of the ticket price?

Ta

Ok found the answer I think...

Tickets
* FREE camping for multiple day ticket holders
* FREE parking for all ticket holders
* FREE access to the pits! Get up close to the racers, crew and of course the Dragsters.
* Weekend campers will be able to stay until midday on the Monday after the event, the bar will be open until 10pm on Sunday.

Correct - Free camping. There are several camping areas within the site, we normally congregate in the 'family camping' area which is behind the paddock. On arrival at the main gate, just tell them you want family camping and they'll bung a sticker on your windscreen to allow you through to the correct area.
