Hi I am trying to find out what color my Bongo is so I can sort some minor chips, I was told it was, Steel Grey.
the code in the door shut is 17R, I know it was originally two tone, but it seems they have just sprayed the bottom half to match the top. So I was assuming it was the standard color. it say according to the chart Indigo blue
[

Can anyone help me clarify this it is a metallic color. I am colorblind so I am struggling a little

you could give Allan of Allans Vehicle Services at Plympton a bell on 403400, he had a blue Bongo.

Ours was solomon blue, much bluer than this one. 17R should be indigo blue (over silent silver). If it's not indigo blue or another standard mazda colour, then you'll either have to go back to the seller and ask what colour they had it resprayed, or try a bodyshop, who should be able to match the colour to their 'paint chips' and could probably also sell you the paint.

Nice motor

I've seen thicker rubber bands than those tyres

I assume that you checked their load rating is 96 or more - most low profile tyres don't have a high enough rating and have been known to split

GOT IT!! it turned out to be Indigo Blue

looks more like grey to me and the place I bought it from said it was steel grey. I got some made up, and have done a cracking job of repairing the damage my neighbors have done while trying to park.
As for the tyres, I have done 10k on them and no problem

the load rating isn't as high as it should be I think they are 92. I have had so much conflicting information from experts that i have just left them on and I check them regularly.
