on my bongo I'm planning to run two batteries the first for the starting and running the bongo and the second for the stereo and other audio kit.
now my question is, as all the kit in the van will be running on 12v off the second battery how do i go about setting up an integrated charger unit to charge to batteries but also I'd like to have the option to use the 240v hook up at 240v from another outlet in the van. i don't want to have the cable running in through the vans side panels i plane to run it in under the bonnet.

you could always fit an intelligent split charge relay, this will charge both batteries.

Some smart battery chargers will allow you to charage a battery as and when you are using it on site.

I'm getting a split charger fitted to charge the batteries when I'm driving I'm thinking of when I'm on site with electric hook up.
i need to install some sort of charger unit under the bonnet but also i'm looking at being able to have 240v running does anyone have a wiring diagram that i can refer to as well as any recommendation of which charger to fit under the bonnet.
