No, they're not a lie - I can prove that cos' I've got some
Can't say they did anything to improve fuel consumption though :( - either that, or it would be really disastrous without them

There an excellent idea, stick them on your Grill up front, and then find a lorry to follow, really close up, you will feel the extra pull and the next thing you know you won't be using ANY fuel what so ever, you can even turn of the ignition. Only problem I found was that I never ended up going where I wanted to go.....

Hi,

The only magnets that maybe of use are the neo whatever strong ones that you stick on your oil filter to help trap metal particles. The fuel ones don't work.

I called down to the motor home and caravan show in Carmarthen last weekend, There were 3 stalls selling what I call snake oil treatments, one offered your money back, I offered to do it the other way I would pay him when I had an increase in fuel consumption, bloke did not take me up on it, not sure why.

Hi
There you go then...if they had paid the "Man From the Office of Fair Trading" what he asked, they would still be on the market
By coincidence, I market a fuel saving device consisting of 4 electrically pulsed clockwork magnets...just stick one over each cylinder on top of the rocker box, and the magnet helps pull the piston up during the compression cycle, thus reducing friction and aiding economy. It works entirely on the principle of neutron flow lamellar stiction reduction....a well known scientific principle as favoured during NASA testing on Moon bicycles
Cheers
Helen

That is clearly not right Helen, unless they also slow the pistons down on the power stroke :(

Hi John
Of course....that's one of the principles of electrically activated clockwork....and don't forget it's NASA approved
Cheers

Aha, I missed the NASA bit - they probably would believe aluminum (American spelling) is magnetic

An INCREASE in fuel consumption? I can do that. Tighten the handbrake till it binds, half the tyre, and use the thickest oil you can find. If want it increased even further drive with the roof up.
Now after you've tried that and it works, can you send me some money? :D
