Bongo Fury

Hi all, need a little advice from the technical experts amongst you. I tried to change the outer cv boots today on my diesel 4x4 but after stripping down the hub etc and trying in vain to remove the outer joint from the shaft, it appears the only way I can change the outer boot is to remove the entire drive shaft and inner joint thus enabling me to slide on the new outer boot. Is this right? If so with it all apart it seems daft not to replace the inner boots as well at the same time which means I will need to purchase inner boots tommorow if I can, is there an inner boot from a different vehicle that is the same as I am unlikely to obtain a Bongo one from my local auto factors?
