Once you can get that rubber thing off, it's dead easy - just a spring clip holding the bulb in place. I couldn't get the rubber off though

Fortunately, young Garry (the sensible half of heatherpetch) was able to do it for me at Mablethorpe
I think I'm for it at Poole!!!!, aren't I Heather

Pull connector off (may need a tweak with a screwdriver to free it) peel off rubber shield, release spring clip holding bulb in, remove bulb.
Refitting is reverse procedure - just DON'T touch glass of bulb with bare fingers as it can permanently mark the glass.

...and if you do accidentally touch the glass, you can use meths on a piece of kitchen paper to clean it.

Do I recall the thing that made it tricky is that you have to press in on both sides of the connector in order to depress the plastic locking tabs so they release their hold. Problem is getting it right when you are having to guess whether you are pressing in the right places. I think I just pressed hard and prayed, and it worked. Once you've sussed it, it is easy next time.

I'm not 100% certain, but there may be a plastic tab under the block connector to the plug... Though it seems most have broken off down the years, this is what makes plug removal so difficult on many bongo's. The thing about not touching the glass on the bulb is more down to the grease on your fingers boiling when the bulb is lit, which can make it blow...If you do happen to touch the glass, give it a quick wipe with thinners, or an alcohol based solvent.
