Please could anyone help with a paint colour question ?
I have a bongo with the paint code A2G which signifies chaste white over silent silver.
Bought a couple of touch up bottles, the white is OK
The silver isn't silent silver.
Silent silver is darker.
My guess is that anotjer colour silver has been used at some point.
Is there a lghter silver that was used on R reg Bongos?
If so, any ideas ?

My bongo is Silver Stone with Silent Silver bottom, which indeed is darker, maybe your lower half is Silver Stone? They do Silver Stone in Halfords, pop along and take a look

You've got Highlight silver like DBO says, I've done exactly the same, silent silver resprayed grille looked wierd, cos it shoud've been Highlight.

I've had two lots from Halfords, I'm sure they had to mix it. If you give them Mazda paint code 18G they'll mix a can, it only takes five or ten minutes.

As Morag suggests, it may be worth getting them to mix a can,and a touch-up pen too if they are available... Ya never know when the can may come in handy...
