swb and lwb on an auto

on my stick it has swb and lwb what does it mean and when would i shift it to those points it is auto

Never heard of that
only ever heard of shot wheel base and long wheel base which are the lengths of the vehical and so can't be changed without an angle grinder and welder.
any pics?????

Only ever heard of short wheel base and long wheel base as well - certainly doesn't apply to a Bongo. Sounds like you have a non-standard gear lever.

Def sounds after-market...unless it's an optional extra, for when you want it to convert to stretched bongo...

Yep - usually 3 of them presenting it, a tall stunt, a short stunt and one who has never been for a haircut.
I'm guessing you missed the middle 5 letters out deliberately.

Do you mean S2 & L1? to be honest I wouldn't worry about them unless you're going to be towing, just stick it in D & go.

i'm going to be towing so when would i use those other selection. what gains are there because i guess they did not put them there to fill a space

Get a hold of the owners manual (not the workshop manual!) from the Bongo shop - it explains all.
