Spot welding

this may sound like silly question 
i'm looking a hiding my amps in behind the panels in the back of the bongo but i need to find a good strong way to fit them in place.
turns out at work we have a very nice stud welder so i can fit a board to the sub frame behind the panels to mount the amps to.
if i discount the battery will it be enough to stop the ecu and the fuses popping when i use the spot welder.
