hopefully someone can spread some light on this for me.
when it comes to the rear fog light can you only have one or can you put two on, i've been told that you can only have one any more and its against the law is this?
I think the one hanging from the underneath of the bumper looks really naff. any other ideas will be well recived.

I think a search on the forum will provide some answers, especially for flush fitting in the bumper. There may even be a factsheet about 'getting rid of your dangly'

According to the following website, it should be on offside or centre & it does not mention incorrect position as an MOT failure. It seems like they only test the offside one. Many cars these days only have one foglight, although it used to be common to fit two. Often, you will see there is a space in the lens where a bulb could be fitted, but as manufacturers started to cut costs, the bulb holder was often deleted.

I put a flush fit foglight in the centre, to keep it away from blinding drivers to the brake light. The advantage of that might be outweighed by the fact that a tow-ball could obscure it if I fit one, and reversing onto a trailer would probably smash it!

With hindsight, I would have fitted a flush foglight on the offside, and got a clear-lense version for the nearside, wired to the reversing light.

Got my light from ebay, but have heard that AVA and the clubshop do them, a Mazda car switch fits the dash holes, and looks neater.

Do you have to drive backwards when it's foggy?

I never go backwards, cos' I can't see where I'm going

thanks everyone for your feedback i'm going to go with the switching of the reversing blub nice tired finish plus i'm putting a tow bar on to.

Hi, I am interested in doing this modification, fed up breaking te ones below the bumper. Our Bongo has a conversion with units either side, how easy is it going to be to access the rear of the tail light? I took out the two screws and the light became loose but I was worried about pulling too much in case anything else was holding it from the inside, for that matter I am not sure how I would change a bulb, any advice/ ideas?

When you've removed the screws, the unit should be slid to the offside (it may need a little thump with your hand).
