Looking at the pics, I'm quite glad I didn't make this one good to see the North East weather didn't disappoint, hope you all had a good weekend anyway

That's surely gotta make next years calendar?! You certainly can take a piccy muz!
Stick ‘em up – Mention the wind one more time and you’re dead!
That "I'm gonna get this in frame, perfect backdrop, don't anybody touch me whilst i'm snapping" expression! Fluffin' brill!
Hope everybody had a great meet!

I couldn't make it as I was at an astronomy meet on the other side of Northumberland (Kielder) but we did get the wind on Friday night (my Venice did survive but it did jump about and throw the kitchen set up all around while I was out at the washroom in the morning!). Then we had a superb clear Saturday night (with temps down to -6 deg C - that the thermostaticaly controlled fan heater took care of). Snow dusting on the surrounding hills!
Shame the events clashed as the campsite you were all at is one of our favourites and I know the company would have matched (atleast) those at Kielder.

I'm not very techie but I have uploaded some photos onto facebook (lots of the Bongo Bash Baby I'm afraid but you can skip through those!)
Its the first time I've ever left a bongo meet early. Windy is not the word. I though I was going to die buried under a domino of Bongos blowing over in the wind

Hi We just got back late last night. Had a wonderful time, never been to this area before, we loved it. Thanks to Ian and Marianne for organising, and Peter who met us there. Thanks also to Mountaingoat who helped get the khyam up safe Friday. Thanks to Muz for the lift in their bongo to see the causeway and the walk on the beach. After everyone left we later found a nice bottle of wine in our awning. Need to thank someone for that?
Walk with Mountaingoat on Sunday morning. Views from Dunstanburgh Castle.

Fish and chips at Eyemouth harbour, well worth the journey.
Day out at Cragside with cream teas. A truly beautiful place, must go back there.
Just a bit of time left for some shopping.
