Metal water pipe

It seems that i have a leak on the 'T' piece on the metal pipe which runs under the passengers seat.
I'v got all the hoses off and away from all the clips. But HOW! do i get the pipe out from the van? Im getting to the point of cutting it in half and then just joining it back together with a hose when putting it back.

Thanks but thats not the pipe. I should be able to get the pipe i have repaired in work. I just need to know how to get it out without cutting it in half.

The front end of the metal pipe bends up in the engine bay and has 2 outlets on. 1 to the heater and 2 the thin pipe to the header tank. The pipe is clipped to the n/s chassis and runs along bu the side of the engine. When you lift the seat and look down its right there. There is a 'T'piece coming off it with a hose that goes to the engine. The pipe then carries on and then starts to curve round the back of the opening then connects to another short link hose which runs across the back of the engine. Hope this makes it clearer which pipe im on about
If not i will see if i can get out there later and take a pic.

It is a diesel van i have but those pics dont show the metal pipe im on about. It is heater hose size. Looks like i might have to go out in the rain to take a few pics.

This is the pipe

This is the metal pipe where the 'T' piece that is leaking comes off.

This is the front end. The 2 uprights connect to the heater pipe and the small pipe which goes to the header tank

This is the back end of the pipe.
I hope this makes things clearer. I still need to know how to get this pipe out from the van so i can get the 'T' piece brazed

I don't know, but I'll be interested in the answer as I've just checked mine & there's corrosion in exactly the same place on the T piece.
Here it is on the rear heater pipework schematics

Thats the one
I think it will have to be cut then joined with a small piece of hose as there doesn't seam enough room to slide it out. Unless someone comes up with an easy way to get it out then i think this is going to be the way i will go

How did you get on Andy? When I took my hoses off, the metal pipe itself was ok, just the hose that was leaking where it was clamped on . Quick clean up replaced all the hoses with silicon ones from Flippa & it all seems ok.

Sorry i meant to let you know how it went but as normal i forgot
I cut the pipe and took it into work. Gave it a good clean up then put a bit of air pressure into it and found there was a very small hole in the brazing of the T piece. So got someone in work to do a good repair job for me. When refitting it i used a short piece of normal hose. I was advised to cut about an inch off the end of the metal pipe so when it was rejoined it had room to flex as apparently this will make the hose last longer. I then replaced all the hoses with the said silicone ones, filled and bled the cooling system and everything has seemed good since.
Did you find that the hose which fits behind the alternator seemed to be a tighter fit than the rest? Or was it just me being kack handed?

Good to hear you got it sorted.
