Yes, if you can get the needle off. I couldn't shift mine, so just cut through the dial and threaded it over

That's what I tried, but there was no way it wanted to shift

Best option is just to fit an MPH speedo - - -

Where do you buy the MPH fronts from and how much are they? Are they just stick on as the last post suggests it'd be easier to buy a new speedo... how much would that be?
Cheers,
J

Find a breakers with a Mazda 626 dash. The MPH ones labelled GA5R at the bottom of the face are a straight swap for the Bongo one & much less fiddley than changing faces.
They turn up occasionally up on ebay or maybe try Partfinder.

While you are at it ,rob the 626 of any dash switches etc

Remember to try to get the complete dash with the perspex cover - the trip meter turn knob is slightly larger than the bongo one so you need this unless you want to drill .Look on previous posts on how to reset the mileage .This is done from the BACK of the speedo. DO NO TAKE OFF THE FACE to do this as some people seem to have done .
The whole caboodle takes five minutes to take out and is the best mod I ever did
Good luck and do not pay silly money when you buy from a local scrappy - - remember you want the speedo for a decrepit Mazda 626 you are trying to get back on the road , not a Bongo. Mine cost a tenner .

Also the same speedo can be found in a mid 90's MX6 if it has GA5R on the face will fit straight in
