V sorry indeed to hear that BONGO-LOUIS. Not a lot more I can say except fingers crossed its only the gasket and/or cost to fix it not as high as you fear (£1500 sounds a lot as I'm sure I've read of peeps getting it done for half that).

Good luck and keep us posted. [-o<

Mate! :(

So sorry. Hopefully it'll be at the cheaper end of the fixing scale & sorted pronto.

On the worst case scenario, I've been down that road. Cost £1200 but sorted in a day & been as good as new for the last 16 months.

Fingers crossed & keep us posted.

Ok, so a hose burst, so why do you think the worst? Or is that just the garage talking it up?

Yeah this is what the garage quoted. Their is oil chucking it out the side of the engine, we have used this garage for 6 years he has worked on our other cars. and he has qoted the worst. fingers crossed it wont come to this. if it does will look at buying new engine as waycar sugested   also should add bongo overheated a couple of weeks ago thought we got it sorted obviously not...
