Does anyone know what that indicates?

Cheers

Depending on the flash sequence, it could be a variety of things.

Theres a factsheet in the members section, with the cunningly disguised title of Diagnostics.

Good luck.

Scavenger fan fault, fuse number 1. Sometimes happens when something is plugged into the ciggy socket also. (quirky bongo thing).

It's indicative of an ECU fault on new shape "fly by wire" bongo's.

In my bongo the fuses for internal lights, mirrors etc are connected to the leisure battery and for some reason when the low voltage cutout operates because the battery is discharged, when the engine is started the glowplug light flashes until the battery begins to charge and switches cutout back on and then the light stops flashing and turns off.

Check for a lose white connection block under the steering cowl.?
Remove the bottom part of the cowl (3 screws) & to the left of the column you will find it!

Had a similar scare while i was fitting my alarm, turned out to be a disconnected block for me! Just forgot to reconnect it..

Yes, that is connected to the fuse number1 (behind panel near drivers knee, top left 10amp) You will get a flashing hold light if the fuse has blown, or if the fuse isn't making proper contact.

This is usually indicated by lack of interior lights.

Isn't that something to do with the flashing Hold light guys?

Theres a whole ream of possibilities on the flashy glowplug lamp on the factsheet . . . .

:?

Nope, it's the glowplug light, had that one myself when my LB died, easy one to check before going down the diagnostics route.

Could fuse 18 also cause this problem..? (The flashing glow plug light..!)

Panic over!

Something went wrong with the relay which blew the fuse so the leisure battery was going very flat.

As with Manny's explanation my leisure battery wiring (which was done as per Willintons instructions) has tags from the fuse board and feeds the various internal electrics and for some reason they must be connected to something to do with that light.

I have replaced the original fuses as per running off the main (fully charged) battery and the light has stopped flashing and is behaving perfectly normal.

As it looks like I need to replace the relay, can someone tell me what is the maximum ampage fuse/relay combination that I would be able to put on a 110A Numax deep cycle LB. One thing I do know is that it would make a lot of sense for me to put a voltage gauge and/or a warning light in the van that shows if the fuse blows etc.

Many thanks for your replies.

Be worth getting in touch with Willinton, I'm sure he'll be able to assist, very helpful chap.
The LB will be supplying fuse no.1 which is the internal lights, if there is no power to this fuse, it causes the glowplug light to flash.
