Wild or on a Campsite? With a decent pub nearby. Perhaps somewhere around the Trossachs would suit most people.

I am not available on 13th to 15th March - Snowdonia Meet and 27th to 29th March - Tough Northerners Meet in Northumberland.

Sounds like a good location, easy strike from both East & West.

as i said aberfoyle would be half decsent place for a day meet good size car park,pubs andmaybe a snak van ,possibly too early for the snak van,but everything else would be ok.

I might be in the Glasgow area the second week in April, If I can get a couple of £19 rooms at a Travelodge nearby.

Managed to get a room.

We will be floating around Glasgow, East Kilbride, and Hamilton on the 5th and 6th, and might be around Livingston on the 7th. Dont know how many of us are going yet, as the older ones might stay here if I can get my Mother to babysit.

Brora if your in Livingston your welcome to call in for a cuppa, Im sure mrs BuddyH will be delighted to start meeting other BongoNutters from here.

A word or two of advice for daymeet organisers based on bitter experience combined with a larger part of great times.

If you are organising a day meet just set a date, time and venue and invite peeps to join you,

If you faff about trying to please everyone the meet will never happen of the thread will go totally off topic and be lost in a flood of discussion,

Good luck with your meet...and if no one turns up then it is their loss and you can still have a nice day out anyway.

Some questions though (for anyone)..........

2) Roughly how long will it take to get there from the out skirts of Glasgow, somewhere like Dumbarton.
