I was wondering if anyone has bought these lights from Ebay and if they fit OK.
The ad shows them fitted to a 1996 Mazda Bongo which seems fine.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0342442334
Also if they are worth the money - second hand ones are so expensive.
Grateful for any info as always

You can pick up a set of Ring make square fogs for around £15.00 I have seen these for sale on e bay for silly money but your local motor factor or Halfords should have em.

I think you can get exactly the same thing elsewhere, try halfrauds etc, just measure the gap to make sure they'll fit. May be worth making a cardboard template of the hole?

Currently £19.99 at Halfords

He probably waits until somebody orders some and then nips down to Halfords buys a pair and pockets £10:00 for doing it.

Thank you all so very much for the advice. I think a trip to Halfords is on for tomorrow! I will get hubby to check the size of the recess and also make a template of the hole to be on the safe side.
Cheers to all

When 'er indoors reversed our cars towhook through our Bongo fog light I bought exactly the same item...Nowhere near fitted...much too small and the wrong shape......proper bongo ones are best but cost lots....I belive one of the Mazda cars (323) ??? may be the same.
You gets what you pay for.
I resold the ones from e bay on e bay for a nett loss of £4

As Haydn said Mazda 323 from about 94 to 98 foglamps fit - only requires some brackets to be made - can be found in scrapyards for about £20 a set - remember to get the foglight switch at the same time

They are easy to do - I know because I`ve done it to my van.

The lights in the ad are the "ring microline" lamps, i have seen "ring roadrunner" lamps fitted to the bongo too.
I had a set of the microline's on my bongo, and they were fine.
Take note that both the "ring" lamps are available as spots or fogs. (lens design differs between the two options).
And yes... The going rate for them is nearer the £20 mark.

(i got mine for £2 from ebay, unused in a faded box)

yes, the originals are quite rare... and if you can get hold of some, they are mega expensive!
Kawasaki kids mazda 323 fogs look just like "pukka" bongo fogs...

Worth a trawl of the breakers perhaps?
