I know its been on the forum before, but has anyone yet sussed out why cold air blows through from 'somewhere' up the left hand drivers seat. I have to have a rug over my left leg in this cold weather. Any ideas folks !!?
Thanks
Pam

Don't know where it comes from, but it is much reduced if the airconditioning/heating in the back ios switched on.

Hmmm. I can only think the engine covers are not seated properly.

Lift the seat Pam & make sure the rubber seal is sitting where it should be. I had the same bother last winter & had to glue the rubber back in place. Cured mine.

& make sure the clips are really tight, quick tap or 2 with the hammer on the bent bit to bend it in a bit more does the trick.
Are the door seals ok all round?

Try this in daylight hours:
Open the bonnet and driver's door, kneel down by the driver's door and have a look in the driver's footwell, look to the left of the steering column and up and I think you will find a 19mm hole in the engine bulkhead through a piece of white plastic. I had the same symptoms and just stuck a rubber bung in the offending hole.

I have turned off the heater/air con in the back
I find it less draughty when the rear heater is on.
