Still can't stop grinning. What a fantastic weekend.
Thanks Alan for suggesting it.
Thanks to the catering crew.
Thanks to everyone else for turning up.
Your ticket is worth a £16 refund for Saturday being rained off.
I think I'm going to go back for the 'Main Event' on Friday 22nd May
Photo's to follow later.

The FIA Main Event is well worth going for. I don't know how many Top Fuel and FunnyCars you had at the Easter meeting but at the Main Event there are absolutely loads, and from top European outfits as well.
Glad you enjoyed it. I would echo Kirsty - you really should do this if only once in a lifetime.

Got home a few hours ago, you shoulda stayed last night guys, went on til late again, loads of the top fuel & jet cars too
Good photos so far guys, I'll get photos on sometime soon, but can't wait to see Pete's photos & vids - think he should get a job as race photographer . It was nearly empty in the pits & the camping area by midnight, unbelievable how quick they pack up nearly came home with a bunch of used dragster tyres that'd been left behind - but managed to supress the urge
Thanks again you guys, fantastic weekend, don't know if I'd have braved 3 days of cold wet weather waiting to see anything happening if you lot hadn't been there. Bongo peeps are bloody brill
Off for a nice long soak in the bath now

You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.
