Might be a good opportunity to check out our 0 - 60 times, as discussed in the 'acceleration' thread :)

Probably not get to the Easter meet. The FIA Main Event on spring BH weekend looks promising, I went to that a couple of years ago, I don't think my hearing has recovered properly since 8)

I'm thinking that could be fun, £39 for 4 days camping & mayhem 8)

It's cool - 0-300mph in under 5 seconds has to be seen (& heard) to be believed

Camping facilities are a little limited, but hey, that's what Bongos are for 8)

Looks like you get 5 nights camping for £39 (15.00 Thursday till 12.00 Tuesday) I've never been to any drag racing events, so I think I might just have to check my annual leave position :D

They have mobile toilet units but, by the end of a busy BH weekend you can imagine the state of them [-X

There are some fast food outlets with the usual healthy fare :^o

It's a great party atmosphere, though. Burning sausages and burning rubber, what more could you want! :D

go for it pals, but take your ear defenders and plenty of lew rolls.we been going for ten years. i would like to propose we use the family camping as it is a bit less noisey than the main camping area, its a great family weekend, and party every night, as you drive in the main gate ask for a family camping pass for your bongo, then they will let you in family camping.sooty&georgie.

8) i did a thread on santa pod last september

it was the european finals......trouble was it rained like a bugger 4 2 days

and if theres no racing, you get rain off value on your ticket

so my 45 pound september ticket has a 30 pound value to it

but sunday the sun came out and made it all worth it

ive been going santa pod for the last 15 years now

its very addictive

there a sommerfield 10 mins down the road , so if you run short,, no problem

when there for 4 days,,, just stock right up... plan meals etc

there are showers available, but get up early and no problem

you can take gennies so youve always got power, and to be honest theres not much other rules

the fair might keep you awake till gone midnight, and the drunken revellers till break

but i bet you go back again

I tend to be pretty nocturnal anyway & as for the drunken revellers, I suspect there may be some involvement
