Hi All

I'm a new Bongo owner and of course want to fiddle around as much as I can as well as go on hol with my young family. Soooooo, can anyone advise me how to remove the rear bench seat including rails? I can easily unbolt the rear seat to remove it from the rails, but then how do you remove the rails? It must be easy and is probably explained in previous posts....but there's so many to trawel through 'cos you guys all like talking about your Bongos, just like me!

Any help would be greatly appreeshed.

Ta, BBB.

Do you mean remove the rails or the runners in the rails that the seat bolts to?
To remove the seat, unclip the covers on the front & back of each "foot", you'll see a bolt at an angle at each corner (17/19mm?), undo them, prepare your hernia & a mate & lift the seat off & out. The runners should slide out the end of the rail once you remove the end stops at the bottom of the tailgate, not sure if you'll have to remove the trim covering the carpet edge.

Thanks for this daveblueozzie. I've quickly skipped through the factsheet but was wondering if anyone had any inside tips.

Thanks for this Kirsty. I appreciate it. I've tried removing the seat on it's rails all at the same time but they seemed to hit a stop so I didn't go any further. I'll remove the seat first now and then try to remove the rails.

Thanks again!
