Thanks everyone
That's clarified things nicely.
As I'm also removing my towbar (one I get over the hernia I got trying to undo the boltd today)...it will be a doddle.
cheers

There's no-one hotter than Kirsty when it comes to sourcing info on here
I've done it but long since forgotten how I dun it. I think the plastic cover strip around the bootlid latch area has to come off to reveal hidden nuts or summat

Too late Cath.
The bumper has done 248,000km....you don't expect perfection do you?
A quick rubdown with a bit of polishfiller should sort it.

I always expect perfection from my men Harry but as far as bumpers go - if its better than mine then great - if it isn't - I shall spray it maroon and then swap them!

I once used a metal post at morrison's to nearly remove my rear bumper, but it was innafective, it merely broke the bumper completely, making it a stupid and pointless post..(a bit like this one!)
